In July 2025, TUNA’s independently developed HC-LT50 ultra-low-temperature denitration catalyst achieved a NOx removal efficiency exceeding 90% at 150–170°C during online and sidestream tests at a leading Chinese steel plant. The results, verified by a third-party testing agency, confirmed the catalyst’s stable performance, with all metrics meeting or surpassing expectations, earning high praise from the steel plant’s management.

The months-long tests evaluated the catalyst’s performance under real industrial flue gas conditions, including both online operations and sidestream bypass testing. Data revealed that the HC-LT50 catalyst maintained consistent high efficiency (90% NOx removal) within the 150–170°C range, demonstrating strong resistance to sulfur and toxins, making it ideal for complex industrial flue gas treatment. Compared to conventional high-temperature denitration technologies, TUNA’s catalyst delivers high efficiency at significantly lower temperatures, reducing energy consumption.
